Competency in literacy gives us power to participate effectively in everyday life. To be successful, we need to be effective oral, written, and visual communicators who are able to think critically, ask questions
Success in literacy is vital for us to be successful in all areas of our school work and in our lives.
Our students
Most of us learn English as an additional language. We come to school with rich cultural experiences and another language to build upon. In Room 7 we use these experiences to develop a rich vocabulary in both our oral and written communication. This year we are striving to build our vocabulary by knowing we have 'Word Power Personalities'.
