Hi. I'm Lyricyst, a Year 6 student at Glenbrae. This is my first movie post. Next time I will have sound on it. Thanks for reading my work. I would love you to comment on my report. My goal was to present facts in a clear and informative way and to add appropriate illustrations. How do you think I did?

Hi Lyricyst,
I enjoyed reading your report on skinks. I didn't know that cats needed two bells on their flea collar to warn the skinks away from being eaten. I have learnt some very interesting facts from your presentation. Just out of interest which programme did you use to make your presentation? Power point or Key Note. I like your choice of back ground.
Look forward to hearing your voice in a podcast soon. Keep up the great work and say hi to Nana and Alaska from me.

Hi Lyricist,
I thought you matched your illustrations to your information well. Sometimes I found it hard to read all the information on one slide before it changed to the next one. Maybe you could make each slide longer, or put less information on each one.
My cat used to catch skinks when we were little, and sometimes they would leave their tails in it's mouth. I now know that we should have given our cat a collar with two bells!

Hi Lyricist, I have enjoyed learning about skinks from your slideshow. We used to catch geckos in the gravel pit on the farm I grew up on. We often had pet geckos in our house because we would bring them back home and look after them and feed them.
Look forward to seeing more of your work on the blog

I was impressed with the way you set your presentation out so clearly under your headings, and included so much detailed information. I thought it was good the way you encouraged the reader to help preserve skinks in your conclusion.
I'm looking forward to your next posting.
