Not everyone was working hard yesterday! Watch this video to see who.
Others were working extremely hard. The pile of bark to be barrowed onto the new Glenbrae Junior School playground seemed to grow rather than shrink.

Room 7
Hi Again Everyone,
Just a few short videos to show you what went on yesterday at the makeover. 'Glenbrae School Makeover' was an extraordinary experience for the pupils, staff and community. We are so thankful and now even more proud of our fantastic school. Thank you so, so, so much to all the sponsors who donated their time and products to help make our environment look amazing. We promise to treasure it all. Thank you, also, to all the people overseas who have sent their best wishes and support and have taken an interest in 'Glenbrae School's Makeover'. The visit from the Blues players added excitement to our day. We have new gardens, a new Junior School playground, an awesome new sandpit and edible garden area, new shaded seating, our human sundial of course and so much more. If you can, pop in and wander around to see for yourselves.

Glenbrae School Mosaic Human Sundial
At last! The human sundial at Glenbrae School is finished. With the help of Karen and Caroline from Mosaica in St Heliers and one of their suppliers Mapei, who donated the adhesive and the grout to us, the staff and students at Glenbrae School were able to create these fabulous mosaic tiles to be part of the human sundial. It was a learning curve for all of us but we had fun making them. We all want to say thanks to Mosaica and Mapei for believing in us and helping us out. We also want to thank the Random Act of Kindness volunteers for believing in us and our Glen Innes Innes community. You have all made so much difference to our school and these differences will last indefinitely. Everyone is uplifted and feeling so positive. We are so grateful to you all.
Glenbrae School Random Act of Kindness Make Over Prep.
Wow! Glenbrae School is looking very busy. We have had Random Act of Kindness volunteers here all week getting ready for tomorrow, Saturday March 6, - THE MAKE OVER DAY. This video shows the men pouring the concrete round the tiles. One of the volunteers came in on Wednesday and taped over the tiles' surfaces so they wouldn't get damaged when the concrete was poured that's why they look all black. Please come tomorrow between 10.00am and 2.00pm to share in the fun and be amazed at our transformation.

Tatiana's Glenbrae School Makeover Comments
I was so amazed about the school makeover prep day. In the weekend, on Saturday, while everyone was at home, hundreds of builders came to Glenbrae School. They came so they could get our school ready for our transformation. Hundreds of them came because there was going to be heaps of work. They were digging with bull dozers, tractors and all sorts of other things. some people were digging, some were painting and others were helping with the human sundial. They even asked this twelve year old boy to try out the human sundial and he did. It was working and everyone was so happy.
